Governor Mehmet announced at this meeting IMF representatives regarding the performance of the financial sector in Kosovo, particularly that banking, and highlighted the importance of this sector in supporting the country's economic development.
Governor Mehmeti also unveiled the Central Bank's views regarding the prospect of economic development in general and the role of the financial sector as key contributor to economic financing.
Representatives of the International Monetary Fund, led by Mission for Kosovo chief Gabriel Di Bella, are staying in Kosovo for the start of consultations concerning Article IV for Kosovo. /Periscopi/
