G7 condemns annexing four Ukrainian regions from Russia, new sanctions warn

G7 foreign ministers have condemned the annexation of four Ukrainian regions by Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying Russia's irresponsible nuclear rhetoric will not distract them or turn them away from Ukraine's support as long as necessary.

In the response of G7 from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, the United States and the European Union High Representative, sanctions on acts of support were warned to continue.

We will impose further economic costs on Russia, and on individuals and subjects inside and outside Russia who offer political or economic support for these violations of international law. We are steadfast in supporting our right to Ukraine to defend against fighting Russia's aggression and its undisputed right to regain its territory from Russia”.

All in the end, the G7 said Russia should immediately stop its fight of aggression, withdraw all its troops and military equipment from Ukraine and respect Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders.
