According to this, 47 percent of citizens believe that the quality of air has deteriorated in the last 10 years, while 89 percent feel that respiratory and heart veins are linked to poor air conditions.
The EC's announcement presented statements by a member responsible for the oceans and fishing, Virginias Sinkevicius, who said that <x0 people tell us they want fresh air to breathe. The EC will lead with a bid to strengthen EU air quality standards”.
