EU countries that have imposed restrictions on Russian citizens

Immediately after the Baltic states and Poland, feeling the pressure of an influx of Russian tourists, Finland also deployed measures at the border, writes SchengenNews.viza.
“With the government's principled decision on 29 September 2022, Finland will severely limit Russian travel to Finland for tourist purposes. Access restrictions come into force on September 30th 2022, 0000, and are valid until a second notice”, Finland's Foreign Ministry announced.
On September 25th, the Czech Republic also fully banned Russian citizens who had a valid Schengen visa.
Belgium, meanwhile, suspended granting tourist visas to Russian citizens since early July of this year. The country now provides visas only for students, researchers, and family members in this country.
Before Belgium, in May, Denmark also banned acceptance of short- and long-term visa applications in Russia. The country now issues only visas for official visits.
