Escobar: US fully supports Franco-German proposal

Escobar in an interview for Kanal10, has said what will be proposed by European countries for dialogue, be taken seriously.

We'll support this. We think, as explained to us, this proposal would mean the closer commitment and integration of Kosovo, and potentially Serbia, into Euro-Atlantic integrations... yes, we fully support it. And I have to add that we have always supported the recognition of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state and we would welcome it to the UN and in all other European structures.”, he stated.

The existence of the Franco-German proposal has also been accepted by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who earlier said the proposal is not final.
