Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said he is committed to preventing workers from leaving the health service in Kosovo.
However, he called it swollen reporting on the departure of doctors from the public sector, as he said it does not represent reality.
“We work and engage to keep workers from going from the Kosovo health service. Part of them also go to the private sector, some go abroad, but I believe that the figures and impressions it creates are more inflated than reality. I'm not saying that there are no doctors who aren't going, but I don't think it's okay that every second blame they're talking about health is to say that doctors who are going to”, he said.
Despite that, Kurti called on health professionals to return and work in the public sector.
Various health professionals will have dignified treatment in relation to schooling. In addition to salary and standard additions, health professionals who decide to work only in the public sector have the exclusive additional”, he said.
That comment, the government leader gave at today's session of the Kosovo Assembly, following AAK MP Time Kadrijaj's question.
