Montenegro's incumbent Prime Minister, Dritan Abazovic, has no legitimacy to determine what options are in Montenegro, Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic said in a statement of media. This belongs to people with more legitimacy than he does. I think the URA Civic Movement and Dritan Abazovic received a clear message on August 30th 2020. This does not recommend a man for top state posts, he recommends him for parliamentary survival in the parliament stage margins of a country's”, Djukanovic said in Budva, following the panel at the 2BS Forum.
He commented and yesterday's statement by Abazovic, who said there is a group in Montenegro embedded in “organised crime and corruption, which in a deklaratively but not in essence supports the EU”, adding that it is “a group around the president of state”.
The “is something that should be vigorously prevented by the strength of the institutions of this country, the strength of the pro-European and democratic political parties that see the country's future in Europe and the system of values of modern Europe and the EU”, Djukanovic stressed.
He said it would be good for the prime minister to wake up “from sleep”, Euronews reports. al
I think it is very important that the current prime minister wake up and face these realities. He can't be saved politically after what he did but I think he's fine. I think all of this, including the moves that were taken yesterday suddenly, sensationally and absolutely irresponsiblely regarding the ANB and Montenegro's security system, are further contributing to Montenegro's institutional collapse and thus endanger the core of the Montenegrin state and its European future”, he added.
