Kosovo Association of Patients' Rights Chairman Besim Kodra said they have welcomed the resignation of Health Minister Rifat Latif, but are worried about who will come to his country and how to approach health. “From what was seen in the first discussions it was seen that it did not [...]
From what was seen in the first discussions, it was seen that it has little knowledge of the local reality of a much contaminated health area here. Continueing his mandate by being impossible and not seen as clear targets for the development of this system. Now that he quit, we see him as something good. But what worries us, who will be the one to come and how to approach the health aspect, because people's lives are in danger, there are many problems, the activists don't co-operate among themselves”, Kodra said at RTV21.
Kodra said the health system needs more reform than money.
“is consistently promoted that we will start health insurance to gather some 70 million more in the health system. From 2015 to now, we have these millions in the health system, but the situation has not changed, which shows that the health system does not need much more for money but much more for reform. As much as money will be put into a system that has holes it will flow as currently flowing”, he said.
