Citing tensions, the dialogue -- Vuciqi speaks after meeting with the QUINT '%s' and the EU: Serious Talks

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has hosted the meeting of ambassadors of QUINT states, comprised of US, Great Britain, France, Italy and Germany, as well as the chief of the EU Delegation to Serbia. According to reports, ambassadors have handed over to Vuciqi a joint document in which they express their concern for the possible deterioration of stability in the region, on the eve of the deadline for reregistering Serbian license plates to Kosovo, Serbia's public television reports, RTS, broadcast Clancosova.tv.
The president said he shares concerns about potential tensions, adding that Serbia is committed to dialogue as a way of resolving open issues, to the benefit of Serbs and Albanians living in Kosovo and Metohija, without endangering their state and national interests”.
He stressed that the current <x0-tensions were born due to Pristina's unilateral moves, as well as the fact that Pristina does not respect the provisions of the Movement Freedom Agreement, signed with the EU mediation”.
The report said that the “ambas of the QUINT ambassadors and the EU Delegation chief have thanked President Vuciq for Serbia's constructive engagement in meeting the Guide for implementing the energy agreement, within dialogue with Pristina”.
After the meeting, Vucinqi wrote in the Instagram that there were serious and essentially important discussions with those present.
“Despite all challenges, we continue to lead a responsible policy that preserves the peace and national interests of our country, to protect Serbia's spirit of freedom and independence, and always to tell the truth of all”, Vuciqi said in Serbia's “account Serbia's future” in the Instagram.
The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo, Petar Petkov, also attended the meeting.
