Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has indicated that the topic of visa liberalisation is at the fifth point in the agenda of meeting the visa liberalisation working group.
Bislimi said the point covering Kosovo will be on the agenda on the second day, specifically on 13 October, while adding that some member states have sought an assessment of the European Commission's report on the progress Kosovo has made from 2018 to now.
For this commitment, my staff, along with departments for European integration within the ministries of the line, have prepared a 33-page impact we have sent to the European Commission”.
“From this material, the European Commission has prepared a brief re-evaluation report that tomorrow is distributed to member states, and then next week, it is discussed in the joint meeting”, Bislimi has indicated, Clankosvoa.tv reported.
On the other hand, he said this is the last step, as he added that there are five more steps but that he hopes all these steps will be completed in a relatively short period, without giving any specific date when visa liberalisation can occur.
