The U.S. Institute for War Research wrote that the Ukrainian Army is expanding the area of control to the northeast, towards Kremenaya, Svatov and the region of Kherson.
In the daily report, the Institute wrote on Tuesday that in these regions Ukraine was successfully coping with former Russian troops.
The Russian “Bugs in the Kherson region and on Lyman's front consisted mainly of units that were considered one of the best combat units in Russia”, the report said, stressing that it was the 144 Guard Division.
According to the report, Russian military bloggers and data from Ukrainian sources provide information that Ukrainian troops are marking results in Eastern control.
Ukrainian “Suxessets in the Kherson region hit the already unstable area of Russian information. Officials of the invading Russian administrations accuse more and more of NATO's intelligence of discovering Russian defence weaknesses in the Kherson region and call on Russian forces to prepare for battles in the streets, to build new defence lines”, it is further said.
