After the American Embassy's intervention, Lieburn Ali's ministry improves the quality of asphalt

Embassy officials have noted that works are being done outside the required standards on Prevale - Prisren Street. Thus, some of its representatives have gone to the ministry to denounce the case.

Periscope has learned that representatives of this institution have noted that ministry contractors are not placing the main element in the asphalt layer called “Force-five-x1>, which serves to strengthen and connect asphalt layers.

After reporting the case, it is taught that ministry inspectors have been out in the country and have ordered contractors to establish this element of asphalt, which is very costly. Then companies are starting to buy “Force -fin” in a company in Prizren which has the exclusive right to sell this product. It's about the works being done in the “Reconstruction Road R115 contract. Segment (Prince-Prevall)”

Periscope has learned that the little one segment is paved without that element of asphalt until it has begun to apply in the next segment.

This is not the only problem with the abuses of work on this road.

On July 6, Periscope reported that the work on this road is not being carried out according to the contract. The findings have been that the ministry contractors have not completely removed the body of the highway in order to lay three layers of tampon, and three asphalts, but at least in the first segment, had done only eroded asphalt and placed a layer of asphalt that then resulted in being without the main element “forca -fi”. Also, part of the protective wall has not been worked according to the terms of the contract but has worked out of a weaker quality.

On the 309th. 2020, two contracts for the Prizren-Prevall road have been signed, which total around 14.5m euros.

Part one of the contract - Lot 1 was given” Eskavator Company Shpk & Pro-C Group Speed & Best Company Sword. The value of the contract is 7, 849, 716.18 euros.
