British authorities have arrested seven people over the week.
Officials of the National Crime Agency, based in Spain and the United Kingdom, have worked with the Spanish authorities on this occasion.
The gang has smuggled mainly Albanian immigrants through Spanish cities, Bilbao and Santander, to the United Kingdom, using boats and other means on the road to the towns of Portsmouth, Southampton and Liverpool.
British and Spanish authorities have identified 50 people who have moved to the United Kingdom with the help of this gang, but the National Crime Agency has said that the exact figure is not yet known.
According to her, migrants have gone from Albania to Spain, but some have also been recruited to camps near Spanish ports.
The smugglers have been offering them accommodates and food until they are headed to the United Kingdom.
