Aggravating association worsens relations with EU's US

The issue of establishing the Association of Serb-run municipalities concerns efforts to reintegration Kosovo's north, which has been split since 1999, so political analysts in the country have stressed. University Professor Milazim Krasniqi in an interview for Online Economy has said the international community is making efforts to establish the majority Serb community's Serb community.
According to him, this is the obligation Kosovo has received with ratification in the Assembly and the inevitable will be realised.
The question of association has to do with efforts to reintegration Kosovo's north, which has been divided since 1999. So the international community has efforts to bring it back in so that Kosovo's strategic interest is the founding of the Serb majority community, of course within the remarks the constitutional court has made. But this is the international obligation Kosovo has received with ratification in the assembly and as such inevitable must be realised. Its alternative is the division of the north, and it leads towards other implications that would make Kosovo's state desigration”.
If the association is not voted on, Krasniqi says there will be a deterioration of relations with the US and the EU, where Kosovo's identity will be clearly dim.
Among other things, he said the government of Kosovo should be very serious in this work and leave opposition nonsense and draft draft the municipality community.
If not voted, we will have drastic deterioration in relations with the US and the EU. Kosovo's identity would be evidently dimmed and would have great isolation. While northern Serbs could declare some temporary recession in order to become greater pressure and lead towards the deintegration of the state of Kosovo. The Kosovo government should be serious about this. Leave those opposition-time nonsense and draft a draft statute for the community of municipalities. Put it on the table as well as other non-papers and open the process of establishing the municipal community. If this does not happen, Kosovo's partition will take place and Kosovo's isolation with all economic and political and diplomatic sequences”.
While connoisseur of political circumstances Fidan Uka said he sees no danger from forming association because it is not the will of any political party and is driven by Ahtisaari's plan.
On the other hand, Uka added that the deadline for license plates should be extended because Kosovo is in the process of decision-making for visa liberalisation.
This is the very clear path. We have a constitutional court ruling that says formation of association according to the 2013 version based on the law for local self-government and association of Albanian municipalities that falls on a nongovernmental organisation. I don't see any danger from forming association without executive competencies and this association is not the will of any political party or political leader, but is driven by Ahtisaari's plan and was the international obligation we have signed to gain independence and we are committed to implementing this kind of association which we have ratified even in parliament and we have committed it to implement. I see no danger as far as the region is concerned because KFOR and EULEX forces are present. I think the deadline for license should be extended because Kosovo is in the process of decision-making in terms of visa liberalisation, and an incident in the northern part would be used as a pretext for this optimum deadline for Kosovo to receive liberalisation to be extended for another time of”.
