The suspect person has been arrested after being charged with several criminal acts that have been linked to customs tax fraud, such as “forging documents, fraud and avoidance from mandatory Customs Tax”.
“The suspect has repeatedly forged documents for vehicles in order to avoid mandatory customs taxes and, as a result, the damage caused is estimated to be over 500,000.00 Euro”
As a result of the investigative and operational actions by Kosovo Customs has managed to recover most of the damage caused by managing to secure customs duties.
