The head of the Kosovo Hotel and Tourism House, Hysen Sogojeva, has called today to a meeting the heads of regional units with whom he has discussed the problems business is facing in Kosovo.
Taking into account warnings that have come from the Government for a difficult winter, from OHTK, say that businesses should help otherwise 30 %s risk closing.
Regional entity leaders have said that rising prices of goods have increased from January to 42%, and that the power crisis will increase.
“Regional Unit leaders have expressed much concern over the current situation that businesses are facing, and especially with price hikes, arguing that by January the cost of goods has risen 42%, and adding to it the problems that businesses face during the winter due to warnings of an energy crisis”, the announcement said.
Kosovo's “Government has warned that a difficult winter awaits us, so O HTK wants to find ways to help these businesses otherwise at least 30% of them risk closing. The government, instead of making decisions that burden up the business situation, must, along with OHTK and other Odas, find ways to support them to survive”, the announcement points out.
