Vuciq said today he has spoken to Djokovic for the second time and that Serbian tennis player “just asked Serbia to help leave the terrible hotel where he is currently staying with immigrants”.
“What we could have done, I spoke for the first time last night, this morning for the second time, in accordance with the agreements we have, Anna Brnabiq is standing alone on the phone, saying prayers and asking only one thing, to release Novak as soon as possible from that notorious building”, the Serbian president said.
Vucinqi said Serbia is demanding that Djokovic settle in the house he rented.
The Serbian president does not hesitate to link the issue to politics as well.

The Serbian tennis player is being held at the Park Hotel, a building used by the Australia government for stopping immigrants in the country after he was refused entry into Australia on Wednesday.
Djokovic was meant to play the first Grand Slam this year at the Australian Open. He was told he would be expelled from the state, but his lawyers said they would appeal the verdict.
