Volkswagen has banned production of Sedan Passat for European Market

According to the British Autocar, the reasons for this decision are the largest sales of the Passatrect and the existence of a similarly established Arteon.

With this recent development, the ninth generation will be available exclusively as a passenger model when it arrives in Europe

The pass has been available as both the Sedan and the caravan since 1973, when the original model was launched.
