Unions “threaten” again Government for the Law of the Salats, strikes and protests warn

According to him, if there is no progress in this direction, the only solution remains union actions such as strikes and protests.

“All roads that are union, including strike and protests on everything that is union. But we are social partners with Government, we want to dialogue to move on. The Law of Salaries is as important to the union as it is to our social partner the Government of Kosovo”.

Even the vice president of the United Trade and Education Union of Science and Culture ( The SBAAK), Vjollca Shala for Online Economics, said he is promised that the final draft of the Bill will be prepared by the end of March, and if that does not happen, it will take union action.

If it doesn't get ready by then we have the convention on April 2nd, and at the convention it will be decided what it was. It is possible, of course, to go even with union action if the drafting of the wage law is not achieved by then”.

Shala said it remains to be seen what co-fficiency will be defined for education workers.

“From the first grade to the fifth teaching class tou is equaled by cofficients to those from grade six to ninth grade”.

There's also a demand for psychologists, professors, then the university administration. The demand that have been in the previous salary law. We still don't have information about establishing cofficients for education workers”.

Deputy Chairman of the Kosovo Infermies Union Enlirat Duraku for the Online Economy said the Infermiencies Union has been consistent with a decent salary and social-economic well-being better for health professionals.

“Coeficent 3.2 with the current salary cofficiency. The Infermies Union has been invited to a public discussion organised by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo in the Republic Assembly for the Law of Salaries, where even there we have declared that the preliminary cofficients in the Constitutional Court depreciated law in which the co-efficacy law for nurses was 2.0-2.25 we did not allow it in any way past. So our undisputed request is the 3.2 cofficiency with the current wage cofficiency”.

Duraku aside says health professionals are the most neglected and overworked community since the war.

So we at our request are very clear, and in no way will we allow the cofficiency under 3.2 to pass into the wage law. Of course, there are other trends that our request will not be approved we will, of course, take consonance actions and union measures that we have both union and laws that are in place in Kosovo”.
