For those to be admitted to voluntary military service and military training for reserve officers, the Serbian state offers monthly salaries of about 38,000 dinars (about 300 euros).
Likewise, as the Serbian newspaper “Danas” writes, the admissions are offered the opportunity to become professional members of the Serbian Army shortly after the military service is completed.
For those interested, Belgrade has prepared a simplified application procedure.
Serbia has recently focused its focus on strengthening the military, among other things, by again buying weapons from Russia in December, two years after it was warned it would cut off supply from there.
These agreements came at a time when all eyes are directed by Moscow and tensions at the border with Ukraine, but also after some Western warnings of Serbia's military co-operation with Russia.
