The British team Everton since coach Rafael Benitez's dismissal has not yet named the Spanish coach's successor.
In fact, at the head of Everton is currently assistant coach Duncan Ferguson, who will lead the English team until the solution is made for the permanent coach, Kosovo follows.
Now, Everton's leaders have reportedly contacted former Manchester United Wayne Rooney, who is currently in the post of coach at Derby County, to take the wheel of the team from Merseyside.
But Rooney has proved he has rejected Everton's offer, proving loyal to his team Derby County.
"Everton contacted my agent and asked me to interview for the coach's work. I turned down this offer. I believe I'll be a coach at Premier League when I'm 100% ready. But I also have a job with Derby, which is important to me”, Rooney said.
Everton had named coach Rafael Benitez at the beginning of this season, where he recorded five victories, four tiers and 10 losses under the leadership of the Spaniards.
