Rheagon UEFA after the explosion at Duke's house: Concerned about political interference in football

U n EFA has reacted to an explosion last night at the home of FSHF President Armand Duka in the town of Durres.

The incident made the European football governing body, UEFA, to express its security concerns about the final Conference League on May 25th to be held in Tirana.

U n EFA said its officials will travel to Albania soon to discuss concerns about “political interventions” in football ahead of the federation's elections. If Duka were to lose presidential elections on March 2nd, he would have to give up his country on the U Executive Committee EFA in next year's elections.

The race for the post of FSHF president has sparked a clash between Duka and Tirana's municipality, which has accused him of corruption.

U n EFA said its delegation wants to discuss current issues and raise its concerns about security and the organisation League in Tirana”.

Duke has been leading the Albanian Football Federation since 2002 and running for a sixth term at the helm of this institution.

Issued to now Armand Duka is conducting all attempts to manipulate the race with the Regional Association, where the last case was yesterday with the Tirana Association, adding the number of voters.

With the time of the Duke's manipulations, they have been conducted at the Association of Durres and Elbasan.
