PSD action at Government: Absolute root that 70% of citizens don't exceed 600 kilowats

The Social Democrat Party today held an event that placed a resident at the entrance of the Kosovo Government building with the inscription “Zyra for KEDS Information and KESCO”, accusing the executive of being in subjection to two private companies and of defending their interest and turning against citizens.

Police officers who take care of the security of the government object rejected the deployment of this banner, almost having a strain on the situation but ending quickly.

Nol Nushi from PSD said the government is afraid and panicking because of recent decisions.

“Look at the activity fear this government, but it's not to blame that they are completely in panic at the decisions they themselves are making and completely subject to a private company like KEDS, so from yesterday, from the last few days we've seen, it's no longer the Office of the Prime Minister or Government of Kosovo that represents the interests of Kosovo citizens, but it's a mechanism under control and subject to the corporation of energy distribution such as KEDS and KSCO8x1>, Nushi told reporters.

He accused Prime Minister Kurti of being silent about the debt KEDS owes to KEK, which is more than 50m euros, while he said the chief of executives is blackmailing citizens by saying that, either there should be reductions, or it should expensive electricity.

It's an absolute lie that under 600 kilowatts are 70% of citizens, it's impossible today a four-member family to warm up during the winter with electricity and not exceed at least a thousand colosses, so the public here is being damaged at some levels. Let's not forget we're paying for the north current from yesterday, from the ZRE report, we've seen that you're not even getting the price up, so that part of Kosovo's territory, it doesn't figure, it's not taken into account by this ZReE that today speaks of protecting the interest of the citizens, these are state mechanisms subject to KEDS”, Nushi followed.

In terms of the proposals for expensive electricity, The PSD has invited a protest Saturday at 2:00 p.m., where it has invited opposition parliamentary parties to join them, however, despite the invitation, said they have not received any response.

There is no public confirmation, we have invited all opposition parties, the entire opposition spectrum, different public figures, citizens to join us and confirmations we will see day of protest”, Nushi said.

He added that protest cannot fail because of measures or arrests that could occur in violation of anti-matures - CO VID, which is forbidden to raise citizens.
