The Vetevendosje movement says it will not be allowed to hold April Serb elections on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, as it did with the constitutional referendum on January 16th. The opposition thinks the same, but calls on Prime Minister Kurti to dismiss Minister for Communities and Kthim in the Government of Kosovo, Goran Rakic, for statements Sunday that warned reciprocity against official Pristina.

The chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement parliamentary group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, has said that Kosovo citizens' vote with Serbian citizenship for the April elections should be made by going to Serbia, by mail or through the liaison office, adding that Kosovo is a territorial integrity and the law applies equally to all.

After the assembly of the Kosovo Assembly's leadership, she has said the resolution, which has issued the Parliament regarding Serbia's referendum, has reconfirmed the will of all political parties in Kosovo for processes that violate the country's sovereignty.

The resolution of the Kosovo Parliament has also reconfirmed the will of all political leadership and opposition parties in relation to a process that violates the sovereignty and constitutionality of the Republic of Kosovo. Voting for elections, whether it be parliamentary or as it was with referenda from another state or other citizens with two citizenships, is envisioned and as many times it was re-exemplified on Saturday in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, there are methods of how it is voted, voting to the state where elections are held, by mail or at the embassies or liaison offices of that state are held. I believe that as a principle, or process, preparations have been defined and can now be made two to three months before holding elections in Serbia so that they can be carried out in this form, in order to understand that Kosovo is a territorial integrity, an independent and sovereign state and the law is applicable to all the same, without exception of”, Kusari-Lila said.

According to her, Kosovo institutions have not allowed Serbia's referendum in Kosovo to be held has not damaged state reports with international partners.

While Democratic Party of Kosovo chief of deputies Ablard Tahiri has said the move regarding Serbia's referendum has been binding and in the protection of Kosovo's sovereignty, which, according to him, has been demanded by the PDK.

But the session, which was held Saturday to vote on a resolution not to allow Serbia's referendum in Kosovo to be held, according to Tahiri, was unnecessary and ridiculed by the opposition.

“Imagine as if in 2011 the Kosovo Assembly were gathered and asked the Government of Kosovo at the time to enforce sovereignty in its entire territory. You know that in 2011 border points 1 and 31 are located in Brnjak and Jarinje by Thaci 2 Government and there is no need for any resolution. The Kosovo Assembly has not gathered to vote on resolution to implement constitutionality in the country. Therefore these are the necessary actions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to implement the constitution and laws in force, to defend the country's sovereignty, we have extended it throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, Tahiri has said.

According to Tahiri, Kosovo should not allow the holding of Serbia's elections on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, while government minister Kurti, Goran Rakic, said it must be downloaded after his statements that Serbia will apply the reciprocals unless it is allowed to organise the 3 April elections.

“Such a minister should be dismissed - a minister making statements against the country's government, which he represents, normally does not belong to that government. As for the elections, it is Serbia's internal issue of how it organises and organizes them, we are left to defend the constitutionality and sovereignty of our country, so we should not allow in any circumstances to organise elections from another state in our country which violates our sovereignty and constitutional order”, he added.

In this regard, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Besnik Tahiri has said no Serbian minister can threaten Kosovo.

As regards Serbia's election body in April, Tahiri has said such topics should not come as urgent to the Kosovo Assembly.

“These are very sensitive topics for the country and in this form should be treated, consumed initially with relevant institutions and then at the parliamentary level, it should not come up as an urgent topic in parliament but must be consumed, what I want to say as the Alliance is that we on these topics do not do the opposition, it is unacceptable for us that someone now tries to praise, commend for the action. The MP's action at the session has been binding, we have all vowed to defend the country and we have done it”, he said.

He has said he has supported the government in the decision not to allow Serbia's referendum to be held on Kosovo's territory, adding that he has asked the Speaker of the Parliament not to return to the debate where MPs can show “who is more patriotic than the other”.

The Parliament's chairmanship has decided that the start of regular spring session works will begin on January 20th, the session in which the debate, also called by the AAK, will take place over price hikes.

Several second reading bills will be considered at this session and an international agreement will be voted.

Also expected this Friday will continue the work of unfinished sessions from the rotating session, which will be international agreements that have failed to be voted last year.
