Official: Theago Silva signs new contract with Chelsea

Theago Silva's adventure at Chelsea will continue in the 2022-23 season, as Brazilian defender has renewed his contract with the European champion for a year.

After a successful start in “Stamford Bridge”, where since the departure from Paris Saint-Germain, Silva won the Champions League for the first time, the Brazilian is continuing with very good performance regardless of his age.

This season, he's become one of the key players of Coach Thomas Tuchel, where he has become one of the most beloved players from “Bluve”.

Playing here with Chelsea is a real pleasure. I never thought he'd play for three years in this big club, so I'm extremely happy he'd stay for another season here, said Silva.

Since the transfer from PSG to Chelsea, Theago Silva has managed to make 56 presentations for the European champion, registering four goals and two assistings on his name.
