LDK launches comments at ZRERE: Government played spectator as the crisis for the current is coming

The Democratic League of Kosovo, through a media conference, has announced the submission of comments to the Energy Regulatory Office, with controversial content of increasing electricity tariffs.

He has made it known, LDK chairmanship member Xhafer Tahiri.

“The LDK has just started its comments at the ZRRE regarding the assessment report on raising tariffs for electricity. For LDK, protection of citizens' interests is vital through institutional mechanisms in this case, sending its statements to the Energy Regulatory Office, rejecting increased tariffs for electricity”, Tahiri said

This party's deputy, Hykmete Bajrami, also spoke at the conference, she said the power crisis started in 2021, but according to her, the government has played the spectator.

We are aware that this is a global crisis, but we are sure that the government has greatly failed to manage this crisis. The LDK will follow the institutional path, if necessary, we will protect citizens' rights even at the Constitutional Court”, she said away.

Bajrami said that increased electricity prices burden the lives of citizens in time of pandemic.
