Infectian Ahmeti: These are the symptoms that are showing patients affected by coronarys in recent days.

At the end of December, health authorities in Kosovo have confirmed the presence of the Omitron version of the coronary.

This option, described as disturbing by the World Health Organization, has been identified for the first time in South Africa in November and has since spread to hundreds of countries of the world, becoming dominant in some.

According to Ahmeti, the infection at the Infectious Clinic at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK), Omitron's clinical manifestations are softer than those of the Delta so far, the dominant variant in Kosovo, but, he adds, Omitron is more transmitted.

He points out that hospitalised patients who have been vaccinated with two doses of vaccine have shown easier form of the disease than unexplored patients.

According to Ahmeti, therapeutic treatment for patients with Omitron is the same as for previous cases.

Some of the drugs required for coronary treatment are paracetamol, favipiravervi, fraxiparna, enocsaparin, rmdesivitri, lactoferine, and various vitamins, depending on the patient's condition.

Within ten days: 1,429 new cases

Health authorities in Kosovo, from January 1st to 10th, have recorded 1,429 new cases of coronarys.

The figure is markedly higher compared to the previous ten days, respectively, period 21-31 December, when 219 cases of the infected were recorded.

But despite the increase in cases, the number of patients lying in hospitals is not high, says Albina Ponosheci-Bicak, infected with the KKUK Infectious Clinic.

Out of over 1,700 active coronary cases, only 16 have been receiving medical treatment in Kosovo public hospitals on January 10th.

The World Health Organization has said that the Omitron version of the coronary appears to cause no serious illness compared to the Delta variant, but should not be classified as the soft “”.

Pnoseci-Bicak says Kosovo citizens should be careful in respecting anti-commercium measures and vaccinated.

The Omitron variable is spreading at high speed. Keeping the mask, physical distance, hygiene, and vaccination of those who have not been vaccinated and taking the third dose for those who have received the first two doses will help us as personnel, but also patients not to manifest serious diseases”, says Ponosheci-Bicak for Radio Free Europe.

IK KPS: An epidemiological situation can deteriorate

The National Institute of Public Health in Kosovo (IKSHPK), through a statement on the social Facebook network, warned on Monday that the epidemiological situation in Kosovo could deteriorate as a result of the spread of the Omitron version of the coronary.

“The added care of all is necessary, to strictly respect physical distance, to use masks, to become disinfectation and ventilation of”, called on I KSHPK.

IK The KPS also said vaculation is the best way to protect against the virus and reminded citizens that they can be isolated daily in all primary care institutions in municipalities.

According to data from the Ministry of Health in Kosovo, 49.2 percent of citizens have been vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine against coronary and 43.9 percent second dose.

Currently, the third and strengthening dose of vaccine is given in Kosovo for all who have spent three months taking the second dose.

Israel, earlier this year, has started with the release of the fourth dose of the vaccine to fight, as stated, the Omitron version spread.

Germany said on Monday it is considering giving out the fourth dose, while the United Kingdom has said it is not needed.
