In an official letter sent to the FAF address today, the international football government is very concerned about the situation created and emphasises its full support for the Football Federation at this moment.
Also, FIFA also reacts to Monday's bombing of President Duka's house and strongly condemns this serious act.
Below is the complete letter sent by FIFA to FSHF address:
“Dear Mr. Schulk,
With much concern we have learned about the very troubled situation facing the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) in its election process.
In this and, above all, we were very worried when we learned about the bomb explosion on January 24, 2022, at the home of the FSHF President's family, Mr. Armand Duke. FIFA condemns this act in the harshest way possible.
Finally, we would like to stress that FIFA expects the FSHF to remain in the position to develop a peaceful, transparent and fair electoral process, without unnecessary influence from the third parties in line with newly adopted FSF statutes and regulations, as well as FIFA requirements. You will have our absolute support in your efforts and we are at your full disposal if the FSHF seeks help.
Please inform us immediately about any development in this regard.
Yours sincerely
Kenny Jean-Marie
The responsibility of FIFA's Office for the Member Federation”.
