Brentford is close to finalising the six-month agreement on Ericksen's transfer.
Now they're in the process of testing his master to play. He also needs permission of work, he broadcasts Periscope.
The medical process Ericsen will undergo will be more complicated than usual for new transfers, following the heart attack he had only seven months ago while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020.
Ericsen needs to get the green light from a sports cardiologist employed by the club, to be registered as Premier Legue player.
The English Federation will not conduct its cardiology report, but will review the firm club's cardiological assessment before it gives the go-ahead.
