First electric Lamborghini a crissover?

It has long been known that Lamborghini will not avoid electrification. The Italian manufacturer has even announced when this will happen.
In May 2021, Lamborghini officially announced plans for the future, confirming that it aims to elect the entire flow of produce by 2024 as well as to present the first total electric model by 2030. Lamborghini's chief, Stephan Winkeman, has provided details about the Autocar portal.
According to him, the first electric Lamborghini will be a Crossover 2+2, or an augustium with four seats and raised from the ground.
When it comes to the first fully electric car, our approach is clear and cautious. Of course, we say: Yes, electrification is part of our future. But be careful, because we're saying: This is a brand new vehicle. This is a segment in which we haven't been present for decades with 2+2, or with four seats”, Winkeman for Autocar.
According to him, the new model may be even more universal than Urus. Less compact, which will result in more freedom for designers and engineers. He admitted it is too early to discuss details, because the project will officially begin at the end of 2022. Lamborghini's chief did not deny that the development of the model would be faster and easier thanks to Volkswagen knowledge and technology. This certainly does not mean that the automobile will not preserve the character of Lambos.
