A second tennis player has been cancelled and told by the Australian Border Force to leave the country.
The Czech tennis player specialising in couples, Renata Voracova, who was to play at the Australian Open this month, had entered Melbourne with the same medical exception that Djokovic was denied access for, implying that she had recently recovered from David-19.
After successfully entering Melbourne's borders with her medical exemption, Voracova played the event of Melbourne Summer Set, losing in the first round with partner Catherine Peter.
“We can confirm that Czech tennis player Renata Voracova is in the same detention as Djokovic, along with several other players”, the Czech Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
