The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, and a delegation of ministers of the government of Northern Macedonia.
The delegation was composed of Artan Grubi, the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and Minister for Political Systems, Bujar Osmani, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fatmir Besimi, Finance Minister Kreshnik Bektesh, Economy Minister Jeton Shaqiri, Minister of Education and Science, Naser Nuredini, Minister of Life Environment and Space Planning and Ejup Rrustemi, director of the Public Company for State Road.
The meeting discussed managing the situation with pandemic, the state of health institutions, and the possibility of easing measures.
Agreements reached at the joint meeting of the two governments held in September last year were the next topic of the meeting, particularly the Tetovo- Prizren road agreement.
European integrations and good neighbourly reports between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Northern Macedonia were discussed.
For the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, it was stressed that it must end with mutual recognition between the two states, which would contribute to preserving peace and lasting stability in the region.
In the meeting, which ended with a friendly dinner, Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied by Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Arberie Nagavci, Minister of Finance, Labour and Transferries, Hekuran Murati, Environment Minister, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Lieburn Aliu, Defence Ministry Minister Armend Meaj and Chief of Staff Luan Dalpi.
