Eight people were killed and dozens more were injured in a clash outside a stadium in Cameroon before an African Nations Cup match.
CAF has decided not to postpone the matches, although it was expected today that this would not take place in honor of the victims.
The African cup is being played in very difficult conditions, with many players infected with Covid-19 and so the teams are facing numerous shortages, like the example of the Komoros Islands last night playing a player at the gate, as doorkeepers were not available.
The African Cup is the leading football competition of African nationals in men's football organised by KAF, and was held for the first time in 1957. Since 1968, it has been held every two years.
