Citroen C1 retirees

The French manufacturer has pulled the town's small automobile after 17 years of production.
The first generation of the Citroen C1 model was launched in 2005, as model model model of the Peugeot 107 models and Toyota Aygo, with which it shared mechanical base, engine, internal design and almost entirely external view.
After the revision of 2009 and the year 2012, production of the first generation ended in 2014, when it also debuted the new C1.
After less than four years of PSA announced that the second generation C1 and Peugeot 107 will be the last and will end the production cycle, so these two models will go into history.
Cirroen and Peugeot, which have already become part of Stelantis' wider group, are leaving the A-grader segment at least when it comes to the SUS motor models.
On the other hand, Toyota has decided to continue to have a representative in this automotive class, through the launch of the new Aygo X model, based on the TNGA-B mechanical platform.
As for Citroen, he does not plan direct descendants of C1ʹshi, but hopes potential buyers can be comforted by the Ammi power microautobil, which debuted two years ago.
For those who view this automobile as very small, Citroen has preserved the C3 model more practical.
As for C1, it should be noted that during almost two decades of existence, an estimated 1.2 million specimens of this small city car have been sold.
