Barcelona bought Ferran Torrez from Manchester City for 55m euros last week.
Spain's Torres signed a five-year contract with Barcelona, which will hold it at Camp Nou until 2026.
He was introduced Monday as Barca's new player alongside club president Joan Laporta, and thousands of fans.
It's a dream, we know what barca is, how majestic it is, and I'll give everything I have to get Barca where he deserves to be”, Torres said during his presentation as a Barca player at Camp Nou.
Asked what prompted him to choose Barça, the 21-year-old stressed: “I've always wanted to do this, I went to City one day to return to one of the biggest clubs in Spain and I never hesitated to join the Barça”.
Barcelona has not yet registered it as its player, as it has to sell players in advance to do so.
Barca has financial trouble and a large wage bill, so she has to make sales during January to create space for the Torrez census.
