Serbian tennis player Djokovic, who is not vaccinated against Avid-19, was expelled from Australia on Sunday a day before the start of the song Australian Open tournament after the court held its decision to cancel that visa.
France's law on the vaccine's passport, adopted by parliament on Sunday, requires that people have the certificate of vaccination to enter public places, such as restaurants, cafes, cinemas or trains.
“Rule is simple. This law will apply to all, whether for spectators or sports professionals”, the French ministry's announcement said.
As for Ronald Garros, it takes place in May. The situation can change by then and we hope it will be more favourable. Therefore, we will see, but there will be no exception for anyone”, says further from this minister.
Djokovic, who was banned from participating in the Australian Open, has refused to take the vaccine against Avid-19 and was criticised after attending public events even though infected with coronarys over the past month.
