So far, cars entering Serbia from Kosovo had to place temporary license plates at border crossings.
This obligation, it seems, will also be imposed by Kosovo authorities for the cars of Serbs who enter Kosovo.
Cars are being set up on the front and rear windows, and Periscope follows.
The Kosovo government has said that all drivers with license plates issued by Serbia must pay 5 euros for temporary license plates, and their validity is 60 days.
Our government had warned such a move during the latest dialogue meeting with Serbia in Brussels.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi had said the agreement for the plates expires on September 15th and that Kosovo will not honour him unilaterally.
However, the Kosovo government has not imposed full trade reciprocity against Serbia despite constant warnings from Prime Minister Kurti.
Let's hope that this will only be the start of setting other reciprocal measures against Serbia. /Periscope
