Minister Jalal Svecla, like his former superior at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Agim Veliu, has signed the firm on the contract signed with the German company “Veridos” After the development of closed tender procedures. By negotiating with just one economic operator, Inseder reports.
The exact value of the public procurement contract signed between the MPB led by Minister Svecla and the company “Veridos” is 3,929,080 euro. The negotiation between the parties was launched in June this year.
Based on the tender file, published on e-procurement platform, the contract envisions “forkification with ordinary 240 000 passports, electricity identification supply T IPA 360 thousand pieces, permission to stay 6 thousand pieces of Type C, patent drivers 10,000 pieces, and maintenance systems for 12 months”.

“All history has started with the opening of a tender for a license plate supply, where after the winner's statement there is a complaint and then we have the announcement of three short-term contracts without competition without proclamation. All three earn the same company. It appears that there are successive violations”, accusing Svechla.
The moment I took office I was faced with this drop, and my collaborators asked you to make the tender analysis of this request”.
His predecessor's “alleged Zakaska”, the Svecla-led ministry has used it not only with the case of the ID and passport emergency supply.
The MPB has announced several other contracts linked through closed tenders with private companies this year.
