Health Minister Arben Vitita on Tuesday took time to stay full three hours with List deputy Guxo, Haxhi Avdyli with whom they talked about management of the pandemic. But for requests, public appeals, and phone calls from the doctor's representative, he never took time to respond.
So has made it known in a proposal for the Inseyder Journal, Federation of Health Union Chairman Blerim Syla, who said Minister Vitita and Prime Minister Kurti never met them or answered their calls.
In addition, Syla added that doctors and nurses are boycotted by the government and that they and patients have already remained in God's hands.
Neither the prime minister nor the minister have spoken to us, no one has come out, we have made demands, public appeals, but never answered, nor did the call especially open to Minister Vitita, but neither the prime minister. Simply genuine dialogue in Kosovo is interrupted, even though it is very harmful to democracy, but also to us because now when we make decisions it takes care of patients.
“We are boycotted by the government, we're just in the hands of the owner and patients”, Syla told the Institute.
After doctors and nurses according to Syla have been left completely neglected by government officials, he has warned that on Thursday they will gather and make decisions about the strike and other measures.
According to Syla, it's very difficult to make a decision in such a situation, but it won't stay hand in hand.
I've warned that as Ferderate, it's very difficult to make decisions in this situation, but we won't sit back if the board is meeting, then we come up with proposals and it's going to be public tomorrow. What is known is that there is a discontent of health workers now we will see what steps we will go to”, Syla said further.
