Manchester United's legend, Rio Ferdinand, has said it would have ordered Cristian Ronaldon to sit down when Portuguese was walking to the strip store to shout at United's defeat against Young Boys in the Champions League.
Ronaldo, 36, scored a goal in his second debut to United in the Champions League on Tuesday, but his goal was not enough after Young Boys reversed the outcome to win the group's last-minute opening match in Bern, reports The Express.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka left Unitedi in the mud after being expelled from the first round in the red card, the Swiss club took advantage of this numeric superiority in the field and managed to beat Unitede by a 2:1 crash.
Ronaldo was kicked out of the game in the 72nd minute, to leave Jesse Lingard behind.
But instead of sitting in the reserve bank like the rest of the team, Ronaldo stood in the coach's area and constantly tried to instruct his friends in the field, standing by the side of coach Ole Gunnar Soskyar.
Reacting to Ronaldo's behavior at BT sport after the match, former United United Representative Ferdinand said: “if I were the coach, to be honest, I would order him to sit down”.
Ferdinand won the Champions League alongside Ronaldo in 2008, during the first period in Portuguese at Old Tuffford.
