Now, even a second person is reported to have been charged with the accusation with Benjamin Mendy.
It's about 40-year-old Louis Saha Matturie. The Cheshire police have made that news known.
The charges are related to three girls over 16 years of age and are said to have occurred between April 2021 and August 2021.
Matturie has appeared in court today and has been held in custody. He'll be re-presented at Chester's court Friday.
Mendy is charged with attacks on three different women, including one under the age of 18.
The three alleged rapes were said to have occurred in October 2020 and were also charged with sexual harassment earlier this year in January. He is also charged with raping a woman during the past month.
The footballer has been suspended by Manchester City to continue without interference in the trial process. /Periscopi/
