Milan's former striker and several English clubs, Jimmy Greaves, has died at 81.
The English Representative moved to Italy in July 1960 from Chelsea for an then 80 thousand - dollar fee, but the experience was unfortunate from the start.
Reports at the time suggested that Greaves tried to withdraw from the move even before the move had ended.
He ran into the strict rules of coach Nereo Rocco and what the English would then consider an extreme training regime.

Despite marking nine goals in 13 presentations for the club, Graves was unhappy and sold to Tottenham Hotspur only five months later.
He would be part of England's winning World Cup team in 1966.

Greaves continued to represent West Ham United, Brentwood, Chelsmford, Barnett and Woodford Town before withdrawing from football in 1980.
He became a legend for a whole other generation of British football fans as a television expert along with his good friend Ian St John.
