Drenica open message Statovci: Apologise or sue

The football club Drenica has reacted after the analyst's recent statements, Faruk Statovci.

Statovci yesterday in “ATV”, for Drenica's victory over Pristina, said: “Borgin as soon as it returns, is better”.

However, Drenica has now denied this charge until she says that if Statovci does not apologize, he will be indicted for slander and damage to the image.

“Culbi Football Club Drenica) reports the sports opinion, media and all Kosovo citizens, that some claims by a Kosovo football player (Faruk Statovci), in a Kosovo television media, where it cast doubt on the match between KF Drenica and KF Pristina, held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, are slander and fiction of its kind. We also encourage Faruk Statovci and every other individual, who at such times and for these claims to address the order bodies to address the issue, because we are not against analysts to express their free opinion, but dropping the charges is a very serious and groundless one that seriously damages the image of our club and football in general, on the contrary, we invite law enforcement agencies that if Mr. Statovci is not willing to reason on what he said, and he does not seek public forgiveness then he will also face indictments at the relevant tribunal, because the same has been slandered and made speculation about our club, trying to minimize our team's victory in front of Pristina, and also trying to tarnish our club and the image of our club with such unfounded and unconventional claims.

Such statements as Faruk Statovci, who is the coach of the U15 Kosovo Representative, as well as KF KEK's chief coach in the Second League of Kosovo in football, has been also previously a footballer of KF Drenica, making such reckless statements, without harmful grounds for football in general is very painful, these unbased and undiscreetful statements are not good, and very negative for Kosovo football in general for our club in particular.

Faruk Statovci, to apologise publicly for his statements on the ATV sports show, on the contrary, KF Drenica will take the next steps from tomorrow's conform Kosovo laws.
