This unit is responsible for the genocide of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica.
In photos that are being circulated on social networks, Djokovic is seen at the same table as the so-called legend.
In Serbia, Jolovic is revered as the lifesaver of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic during the war in Bosnia in the early 1990s.
Djokovic, whose father was born in Zvecan, is known as an unbeliever of Serb crimes in Bosnia and Kosovo and has been a vocal opponent of Kosovo's independence.
Djokovic's photos with Jolovic were later published in Serbian media.
In 2017, the UN tribunal declared Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb general, guilty of war crimes in Bosnia and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
Drina's “Ujks” was a military unit of Republika Srpska's Army, which took part in the mass killings of Bosniaks in Srebrenica, later named genocide by international courts.
During a recent visit to Bosnia, Djokovic was seen singing at a wedding along with Bosnian Serb presidency member Molorad Dodik, who is known as an unbeliever in the genocide and who is constantly campaigning to separate Bosnia's Serb-led entity, Republika Srpska, from Bosnia.
Political expert Jasmin Mujanovac wrote on Twitter that Djokovic would probably not lose even a sponsor because of links to contour figures.
