The PDK's mayoral candidate for the Mitrovica municipality, Bedri Hamza, has said Mitrovica was never divided in Bajgora, Drenica and flat Kosovo.
Hamza added that Mitrovica was the city that united all of Kosovo without differences among different areas, and that the trends to divide the city into malgamous and tribal areas are racist, harmful approaches and attempts to recycle Serbia's thinking to confront Albanians.
Hamza has added that Mitrovica has been a city of economic development every time, as well as an epic of cultural development and emancipation.

Mitrovica for a long time was the focus of economic development, the centre of culture and emancipation.
Mitrovica is the first city in Kosovo to have gathered families from all over Kosovo -- from Gjakova, Peja, Prizren, Podujevo, Vushtrria, Gjilani, Skenderaj and Kacanik.
Mitrovica has never been divided in Bajgora, Drenica and the Plain of Kosovo. It was always a city that united Kosovo. Only Serbia during the years of communism had created the split slogan “Ver is Kraleve, south is Drenica”.
Tents to divide Mitrovica into neighborhoods and tribes are racist, harmful approaches and attempts to recycle Serbia's thinking in order to appoint Albanians!
Mitrovica does not endure divisions. So #with BendriHamza, we rejoin forces to restore Mitrovica's glory and dignity!
