World Weather Agency warns Kosovo and the region: Attention, today and tomorrow storm

The high - risk areas that can be hit today and tomorrow (5 and 6 August) are: Northern Croatia, northern BiH, southwestern Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania and northwest of northern Macedonia. These areas are threatened by strong winds that can cause damage, hail, heavy rainfall, and even tornadoes.
The harsh weather is expected Thursday, as a very dynamic upper-level wave moves over the Balkan Peninsula. The wave of sustained emergency heat in Southeast Europe and Turkey will end with heavy weather in some Balkan countries and refreshment for Greece and its suburbs”, said the report of “Severe Weather”.
The agency says the harsh weather has been warned of Thursday morning, but that it can be followed in the afternoon.
A flood warning was also issued.
The storm is expected to move from north to the Central Balkans during the day, but the storm will weaken as it moves.
This morning the damage had already been recorded in certain parts of BiH due to a storm that swept trees, roofs and caused damage to power grids.
