Clubs had applied for a return aboard the ECA (European Club Association) after their departure in April, when the European Superleague was established.
After taking over ECA specific requirements that require the ECA Board to consider withdrawing their previous resignation requirements in April 2021, the ECA Executive Board has agreed that the following clubs will retain their usual ECA membership for current membership in ECA cycle 2019-23: AC Milan, Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Club Atlético de Madrid, The FC Internasional Milan, Livepool FC, Manchester City FC, Manchester United FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC, “tuhed in the release statement.
