“We started to cry a lot”, confession of Afghan businessman after leaving Afghanistan on a military plane

“Everyone got excited, most of us started to cry a lot,” said Hassina Syed for the BBC.

Syed appeared at the airport with her Afghan passport and British driver's license. Her husband and children are in the United Kingdom.

She said women still in Afghanistan are concerned and want to get out, while adding that she had seen few changes in the Taliban.
