Five years ago in Rio 2016, most of the match judges were sent home amid activity for the scandalous decisions they were making, but it seems the situation has not changed to this Olympics either.
The charges this time around are that judges are prominently supporting Japan and its boxers with results that have become ridiculous. In the weight duel of up to 51kg, a result has been produced that many have named the Olympics scandal.
Columbia's Juberjen Martinez massacred Japan's Ryomei Tanaka in the finals of this weight. Consistent Colombian coups blooded the local boxer and left him so shocked that after the race he had to be sent to the hospital for visits because he was unable to stand.
But earlier, he hung the winner's medal on his neck, as, as, to everyone's surprise, the judges gave him the match by a score of 4-1, producing one of the biggest scandals in the Olympic Games.
