Rakiq: Albanian parties trying to provoke political earthquake

Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq has said that the Albanian “Parties are trying to provoke a <x1 political framework” by joining the 17 October local elections in municipalities where Serbs make up the majority.

According to him, the Serbian List is trying to prevent this by calling for the unity and responsible behaviour of the Serbian people in Kosovo.

In an interview for the newspaper Politika, Rakiq says that this grouping of Albanian political parties, which, he says, are politically uncompetitive, is a risk to the protection of Serbian interests, rather than the Serbian List, which, according to him, is the backbone and political war for the Serbian people, Tanjug reports.

This is why we all have to be responsible. Put aside the small disputes, if there are, and vanity, because this is not the moment when we can allow ourselves to give up and risk our survival with our irresponsible”, he said.
